The Bench Maji Development Association is a non-governmental and independent indigenous humanitarian organization organized by the community of the zone to fill the gaps in development that are not covered by the government.

Today, the development association has started the special gifted boarding school self-help project, which is believed to improve the human resources of the zone, in the current fiscal year, and recruited 53 students who have the best talent from all structures of the zone, who have passed from the 8th grade to the 9th grade, and provided the necessary food, lodging and education materials. He is teaching in Tark, the first boarding school in the zone and development association.

For the construction of this historic and great project, the development association has set a goal of raising more than 150 million birr, and the development association, which usually says that the wealth is the people of the zone, has set up revenue collection committees and sub-committees to raise the funds.

Accordingly, on behalf of myself and the development association, I call upon the entire community of the zone and the local people and friends outside the zone to leave their mark on Zeh Tarkawi’s work and confirm their partnership.

Our development association, which is working under the vision that development is the result of joint efforts, is still working diligently to identify the government’s development gaps in the zone and coordinate the contributions collected from many old organizations and members. In the future, by coordinating the development association’s potentials in the zone, we are working on a five-year plan to do more in the protection of natural resources and social services.

Therefore, in order to connect the development association with modern technology, the development association was made to have its own website for the first time in Tarku, and they were able to establish a system where members can register and make their payments while they are there. Promotion of the development association’s activities through social media and various social media is being done intensively.

Therefore, we have set up a system where existing members of the development association can renew by paying their annual fees and new members can register to become members of the development association.
